As a Systems Administration Manager at Kapitus, you will be focused on helping our teammates effectively use technology and ensure that the Systems Administration team is not impeded in managing and implementing the various systems required to run the business. This will help Kapitus continue to help small business owners get access to capital so they can make payroll during tough times, scale to meet market demands, and making large purchases to scale their operations.

Responsibilities:

This role is a blend of strategy and tactical execution that will give you endless opportunities to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills, and mentor others. Your teammates will be distributed between NY, VA, and Chennai.

  • Support a distributed team of Systems Administrators with both infrastructure management and help desk tasks
  • Work with the team to define the correct set of software and services to implement to enable the teams at Kapitus to maximize their efficiency and remove downtime
  • Manage the communication and reporting of P1 issues with the department heads throughout the company
  • Engage the Cybersecurity team to define proper protocols and procedures related to security within Microsoft 365
  • Configure and manage networking hardware and software

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience, Minimum 9 years work experience in IT Helpdesk or Systems Administration (11+ desirable)
  • Technical management experience, preferably with a helpdesk or IT support team (minimum 3 years)
  • Experience working in Microsoft 365 and/or Azure (minimum 3 years)
  • Background in networking, including both hardware and configuration (minimum 2 years)

Qualifications:
